More Info

At Andover Bread Loaf's writing workshop, students transform blank pages into life, which in turn speaks to themselves and each other as a community. The momentum builds as they hear their own voices and the voices of their peers. They come to recognize the power of their words.   An intensive graduate-level professional development program founded in 1987, the Andover Bread Loaf (ABL) Writing Workshop is designed to help activist educators develop their talents as writers, create curricula, and initiate exciting interdisciplinary projects in their classrooms, schools, and communities. The award-winning workshop is a collaboration between Middlebury Colleges Bread Loaf School of English graduate school and Phillips Academy, a private secondary school.
